*INTRODUCTION : Welcome to sdirc, an Internet Relay Chat Client. sdirc connects you to standard IRC server/channels while you are within 3D virtual worlds developed with SCOL technology from CRYO-NETWORKS. People from 3D worlds and 2D chats can then communicate. You can connect to one channel at a time, channels and server names are defined by the author of the 3D site. Remember to visit the sdirc web site site regularly for information about the latest version, as well as for links to other SCOL and IRC web sites. *COMMANDS : /NICK nickname Changes your nickname to a new nickname. /ME message Tells the current channel or query about what you are doing. /AWAY [away message] Leave a message explaining that you are not currently paying attention to IRC. Whenever someone sends you a MSG or does a WHOIS on you, they automatically see whatever message you set. Using AWAY with no parameters marks you as no longer being away. /IGNORE nickname Add user to your users list to ignore. You will not receive anymore messages from this user. /UNIGNORE nickname Remove user from your users list to ignore. You will receive messages from this user again. /MSG nickname message Send a private message to this user. /NOTICE #channel|nickname Send notice message to channel or user (#channel must be current channel). /QUERY nickname message Open a private chat window with this user and send him a private message. /TOPIC topicContents Set the channel topic (use this command with no parameters to see the current topic). /DELTOPIC Delete the current topic. /OP Give operator status to users. /DEOP Remove operator status from users. /VOICE Give voice status to users. /UNVOICE Remove voice status from users. /BAN Ban users from current channel. /UNBAN Unban users from current channel. /KICK nickname Kick user off from current channel. /KICKBAN nickname Kick and ban the user from current channel. /MODE #channel|nickname [[+|-]modechars [parameters]] This is a powerful command that gives channel operators control of a channel and the users on it. By owning a nick, NickServ will make sure that you are the only person who is allowed to use it. It does this by requesting that you send it a password every time you log on to IRC. If you wish, NickServ will also disconnect any user who uses your nick and does not identify within 60 seconds of logging on to IRC. /CHANSERV help|command ChanServ is a service that allows you to "own" a channel.
